Engine 10
Engine 10 is a 2010 Sutphen pumper. It was purchased in 2010 with a combination of federal grant funds, department savings, and a loan from the Kentucky Fire Commission. Engine 10 is built on an International commercial chassis. Engine 10 carries 1000 gallons of water, 20 gallons of foam, and has a 1250 GPM pump.

Engine 18
Engine 18 is a 1987 Seagrave pumper. Engine 18 was donated by a fire apparatus collector in 2017. With seating for 5 firefighters, and with a variety of tools and hoses at its' disposal. Engine 18 is equipped with 750 gallons of water, 30 gallons of foam, and a 1500 GPM dual stage pump.
Squad 10
Tanker 10
Tanker 10 is a 1987 Mack/4 Guys tanker truck. Tanker 10 is equipped with a 2000 gallon water tank and a 1000 GPM front mount pump. This truck was purchased in 2019 from a department out of Pennsylvania.
Brush 10
Utility 10
Utility 10 is a 2003 4x4 Ford Excursion. Utility 10 was donated in 2018 by a volunteer fire department out of Virginia. This apparatus seats 6 firefighters and carries extra equipment needed on fire scenes and motor vehicle accidents.
Attack 10
Attack 10 will be a 2022 Ford F-550 brush/quick attack truck. In December of 2021 KVFD awarded a contract to Vengeant Manufacturing and Atlantic Emergency Solutions to build the truck. This truck is funded through a FEMA AFG grant for $185,000. We are expecting delivery late 2023.
